Jujaseojeoryo (Synopsis of Zhu Xi's Letters) (1743)Outline and Explanations of the Works of Zhu Xi (朱子書節要) by Yi Hwang (1501-1570). Yi selected about a third of the original 45-volume collection of letters by Zhu Xi and compiled them for publication. However, having some regret for omitting a large part of the original collection, Yi never published it. Later, in 1561, other literary scholars gave Yi’s compilation a title, adding an outline and annotations before publishing it as a book in Seongju. Dosan Seowon, a Confucian academy founded by Yi, engraved the existing woodblocks for it in 1743.
